I came in world the other night, and discovered a notecard waiting for me … and got quite surprised when I read it. I’d been invited to give my profile for a magazine that’ll be coming out in a little time (I don’t know when at the moment). They said they could send a photographer out to shoot me; but my schedule is hectic at the moment, to say the least. So I decided to take the other option, and shoot myself according to their specs. (Be kind … always follow the instructions.)
It’s only reasonable to be photographed in the way you’d like yourself remembered. I’ve always looked on myself as channeling classic style and glamour (when I’m not rockin’ the house in exotic skin colors), and so I chose a gown. Specifically, Chiara from Celestina’s Weddings, this edition in a two-tone aqua shade.
This dress impressed me particularly with its filmy back detail (which my hair, sadly, covers up somewhat). It’s little things like this that really make a dress, and so I snapped it up.
